Beyond Evil

Beyond Evil is a 16 episode Kdrama I already wrote a little about during the Snowflake Challenge . Some additional notes now that I’ve finished watching:
• First and most importantly: It was a thrilling ride ❤
I was glued to the screen, 100% recommend this drama!
The general structure is a little different from the usual. About 6 episodes in it pivots to a different style. And then every time you think you know where it’s going, it takes another turn.
• While not super graphic, the show doesn’t pull its punches.
slightly spoilery example
At one point, one of the main characters realizes that he could have saved one of the victims - she was actually still alive while he was looking for her body, only meters away from the place he was searching.• Every single plot-relevant character is unhinged. If you catch yourself thinking well this person is normal, no they’re not. They are crazy, every single one of them. Everyone has something to hide, it’s delightful.
• My only complaint: It was slightly too dark visually. There are many scenes taking place at night and I wish the lighting was a little brighter. I have been spoiled by Guardian on this, haha.
• Lee Dongsik and Han Juwon are highly shippable. There’s no doubt in mind that these two want each other carnally ❤
