1) In light of the German Government cracking down on ao3 since they have nothing better to do apparently, I need to do the boring thing and name ao3 as my number one fannish space. I don't know how I ever endured ff.net and ff.de. Love you ao3 <3

2) I recently joined the amazing sid_guardian community.
Hoping I can make it to the upcoming watch-along!

3) Since the challenge prompt mentioned recipe blogs, my mind immediately went to
justonecookbook, a japanese recipe blog. I have tried many of Nami's recipes to great success.

I didn't know that about the German Government and A03. That's horrible. I love it too and would miss it hugely if I was denied access.

If I understood correctly, it's not German Government targeting AO3, it's the German Google?

It's the Bundeszentrale für Kinder und Jugenschutz (Federal Child and Youth Protection Services).
I think this is considered a government organ, but my terminology might be off.

Ao3 was determined to be hosting child pornography (writing can be cp under German law) and thus placed on the Index (List of Evil Badwrong Media). Google does not show results for anything on the Index.

There might be some investigation still ongoing, and we don't know what will happen next.

Ah. I saw some people from Germany talking about it on my feed but I honestly don't remember who they were.
