The weather here is foul, so I am not going anywhere to get cabbage for okonomiyaki, tempting as that is. I wonder if I could substitute kale …

I burned myself out on writing and wrote zero things last year, so I completely get it. Life plays rough sometimes. Good luck on recharging and getting to play whatever role you want in fandom, and thanks again for the backend support. Folks like you are the spine of fandom, the tough, flexible backbone that provides so much of our ability to keep going. 💜

I use iceberg lettuce for Okonomiyaki, but think kale could work as well – might give a slightly different texture (less crunchy?).
